Why money does matter (for real)
Money, the money most underrated yet most important invention of mankind, this is the thing which pulled our civilization from barter system junk to a corporate empire. In this article I will tell you how I, as 16 year old teenager living in a third world country like India understood the true importance of money and harnessed it.
The Story starts here, I was a normal 16 year old kids who had simple and idiotic ambitions like other normal (dead inside) kids. I wanted to get good grades in school, go to a good university, get good grades in the university and then get a high paying job. While the time I was living in hostel off my dad’s money, One day I was passing down the street near my college, I was about to reach my college for my lectures when I saw a posh coffee shop and I went in there, I looked at the coffee shop menu, my sight went to a tasty cup of coffee that had a price of Rs.400 ($7 approx.). But surprise surprise!! I didn’t even had a single buck in my pocket, then I quickly went through my whole bag pack, and there too was little-no money. That day, I didn’t even had courage to open my Paytm(e-wallet) cause I already had an optimization that It wouln’t have any money. This was the first incident which triggered me to earn money.
after a few days, I came to my home after getting the college exam results in which I got around 90% marks (f*k those marks!!). Then the next day, for celebration, I went out with my friends in a local mall to eat some food, we were sitting and eating some cheap ass food while my sight went to pizza hut, I asked my friends “Should we go there?” and one of them replied “No, we can’t we can’t afford a single pizza there” I replied “why not?” and he said “listen dude, we don’t even earn a buck, even if our dads earn $10000 (6–7 lakhs) per year, we don’t have any right to waste them, even if they are ready to give us money we should not waste money, because at the end, we are not rich.” This was the second trigger I had.
Then, after some days, while I was waiting for a public bus to my college, The boy I hated most in the college came near me and looked at me with a fierce smile while sitting in his dad’s Mercedes and went which went a great speed. I don’t know why but I literally beated the sh*t out of my mind. I was literally filled with nothing but pure rage towards the rich. Next day, while scrolling random stuff on Youtube, I found an interview video of Robert Kiyosaki and the title was “Keep Them Poor”. I was like woah!! what is this dude tryna talk about, I just put on my earphones and listened it with full concentration. That Interview literally changed my f*king life!! I was overwhelmed after knowing that you do not need to be already from a rich family to become rich, and after knowing the fact that 40% of the millionaires in India, my home country came from below poverty line families, I was determined to change my destiny. Immediately I started researching that what do you have to do if you want to become rich, after some time of research and wasting times on tons of youtube videos, I stopped learning C++ from my college syllabus and started learning digital marketing. This was literally the best turning point of my life. I Invested around $17 that course. 2 month after started learning digital marketing from the “Six-Figure Income” program, I was not able to see any visible results, but I knew on the inside that “diamonds are never made in 2 months”, it takes thousands of years for coal to become diamond, and for me, that thousands of years was around 4 months time. Yes, the 5 years of hustle bullcrap was seeming fake to me. I got a new Idea after started earning enough money from social media marketing to buy a new $20000 Tata Nexon EV without any sort of down payment and and I am currently 17 and working on my dreams .
The lesson I learned from all this is that you just need to start, don’t worry about results, God will give you them, sooner or later. And you don’t have to neccesarily be a millionaire to be happy, you just need to be financially independent although you should always pursue to be a millionaire.
